While in the city of Paris, photographer Paul James Hay captured a intimate series of portraits featuring fresh face Lynn Amelie Rage.

Yazbukey has been created by two sisters: Yaz & Emel, real Ottoman princesses and descendants of Mehmet Ali Pasha, King of Egypt. In 2001 they decided to launch an accessory line focusing on beaded leather pieces. After a few collections, the accessory line has been completed by t-shirts and dresses, followed by shoes. I saw the collection of plexi necklaces and broochs 2007 at Colette (Paris) for the first time and am a fan since then.
The world of Yazbukey describes a very playful universe, inspired by old musicals, tales of La Fontaine & Grimm and by cinematic sources from Hitchcock to Tim Burton.
Previously choosing iconic figures such as Billy Idol, Michael Jackson, Karl Lagerfeld or Jackie O. for their homages, the two sisters continue to express their musical interest with mysterious French singer and “love guru” Sébastien Tellier as their muse for the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection.
Necklace ” Sébastian Tellier”, around € 180,-
In the following you can see my favourite items of the upcoming A/W collection respectively must-have’s of Yazbukey:

“Hot Dog” necklace, around € 130,- (S/S collection 2009)

The “Karl” brooch, a must-have-button on your jeans-jacket, around € 88.

Model “Blind Mouse” of the cult collection (f/w 2009) is a pvc bag (20x10x10 cm) and also available in silver or black enamel varnish. Around € 150,-

Plexiglas “finger” necklace, around 250,- Euro.
My Fave, Mr. Bowie! Around 88,- Euro.

Leather knot clutch, around 190,- Euro.

Charlotte Gainsbourg, Audrey Tautou, Vanessa Paradis: since I was born, I ask myself, if french women are born with a kind of “style-gene” or something like that. Or if they just inherited their sense of fashion from icons like Catherine Deneuve, Brigit Bardot or Juliette Binoche. Those Ladies from their early fourties look fantastic in Chanel - the younger ones got a new favourite: Sandro.
Sandro is the fashionista’s go-to for young Parisian chic. French designer Evelyne Chétrite started her line in 2004. The look of Sandro is typical “parisienne”: somewhere between sexy vamp and romance-girl but for all that natural. Moreover her collection is affordable (e.g. accessoires from ca. € 70,- on, dresses from € 150 up to € 300,-).We love Sandro for its soft, feathery silk dresses and blouses, feminine details like pleats and bows and
In the following I attached some looks of Sandro A/W 2010/11:

Unfortunatley there’s no Sandro boutique in Germany until now. But you can find beautiful pieces of the current collection via German shopbop.com and British net-a-porter.com.
